Cast: Nicholas Teo, Cyndi Wang, GINO, Joyce Zhao
My 1st impression of this drama when i started watching..was like: "Oh, is just another idol drama...but heck...after watching the 1st epi..i can't wait for the next 1...totally hooked...!" Love all the characters, the story plot...n most imprtly the pasta..! (+ pasta doll..so cute...) =D
I seldom get interested in male singers apart from the 3Ks (Ken Hirai, K & Kinki Kids)..hehe...
Wow, I really got infatuated by Nicholas Teo's vocal. Really love the song "Tears from Polaris" (from the drama)..listened countless times. Of course, i listened to his other works too. N they are all good...Sometimes, not all songs from a singer alone 'ring a bell' on me (if u understand what i mean) :p Haha...i want them all in my MP3...hehe...maybe have to do a thorough search for his albums...sigh....
All in all, I would give this drama: 9.8/10

Review on Korean Drama: Iljimae
Main Cast: Lee Joon Ki, Park Shi Hoo, Han Hyo Joo & Lee Young Ah.
1st Episode: Shows Iljimae robbing a royalty's house at the start which caught my eye. But after that, the story goes into the past before he became "robin hood". And that's when I started to fall asleep...haha...
The previous Korean drama that I watched before this is "Meeting the Perfect Neighbour" starring Park Shi Hoo, Kim Sung Ryung & a few other cast whom also starred in "Iljimae.
I've something to comment abt the character that Park Shi Hoo portrayed in both dramas. Too gloomy, i think.. :) He looks really good when he smiled. So dunno why the directors gave him these roles..haha... :p
Also the child star portrayed as the young Bong Soon, she's really CUTE. She has acted in "Wonderful Life" & "I Really Really Like You" which I watched. Her tears came flowing so naturally...wow...she will become a great actress in future! Very talented. :)
Another star I would like to comment is Kim Chang Wan (The King).
I watched other dramas like: Coffee Prince No. 1 & I Really Really Like You where his roles are kind & loving. (a fatherly figure) So is kinda weird, to see him act as a bad king. Haha...
And another character is the 'father' of Iljimae & the imperial guard, the part where he's dying...great acting skills.. i'm so sad when he died... *sob
Last but not least, Lee Joon Ki is good maybe cos he's majored in acting? (according to the record in DramaWiki) And he's also good in taekwando! Wow! Plus a 'pretty face'. Envy lei, complexion so good... :p
For his drama, I've only watched "My Girl" & "Ijimae". Movie: "Fly Daddy Fly". He keeps getting better and better. Maybe there'll be a I' 2? Haha...looking forward to it... :D
As the story goes on, everything fell into pieces. But the ending is in such a rush..everything is cramped into 1 episode...
Oh yes, the theme song: "Hwa Shin" by Park Hyo Shin is super good! Love the song! :) It always come in at the right time during the drama scenes.
I'll give this drama a rating of 9/10. :D

Korean Drama Review: The Devil aka Mawang
Main Cast: Joo Ji Hoon, Shin Min Ah & Uhm Tae Woong.
Remember JJH in Goong? Oh my, this is a totally different character from the Prince in Goong....So dark & mysterious. The character had such a heavy burden on his shoulder & dreadful hatred that led him down the path. His role in The Devil died in the end...after watching...so sad...the woman he loved saw his death from afar....The other lead actor is very good too...sad too....with regret in his heart thru his life. (i mean the role that he played) The lead actress...hmm...no familiar with her...but her power is very tiring...(i mean her role too) what other dramas has she acted in? I will find out later...
Like a thriller definiately...make me wanna watch thru all the way... haha... makes me so tired...hee... :P
I'll give this drama a rating 9/10.

Review on Jap Drama Nodame Cantabile SP
I saw on the internet that the special is being telecast in Jan 2008 (Japan) so I immediately went to search for the DVD in Poh Kim...& ta daa! Found it! Shiawase ne..~~! Watch over...over...again.....! Oh wow, Nodame & Chiaki senpai finally became an item!! So happy for them....
But after watching, feel kind of down...hmm..cos i haven't watched enough of it...hope there's a sequel to this drama...since the manga is still ongoing. :) Haven't show them performing on the same stage yet in the drama. Also, the relationship between Mine Ryuutaro & Kiyora.... Really looking forward to "2" if there's one... haha.. =D

My Drama Review: Nodame Cantabile
Main Cast: Ueno Juri, Tamaki Hiroshi, Eita, Koide Keisuke,Mizukawa Asami & Takenaka Naoto.
Very nice drama, satisfied both visual & audio respectively. I love all the casts! A must watch for all music lovers & even non-music lovers! :)
I used to not look at the conductor sometimes & play by the score during my band days..ahh... Oh I was playing the flute back then...those were the days... :) We also tried conducting during sessional practices.
My working environment revolves around music books but no instrument to play.... *sigh....
I took pop keyboard lessons privately & quit after half a year..haha...
Watching this makes me wanna pick up my keyboard lessons again. (this time round..maybe i'll take classical music lesson instead of pop...
Gyaboon......mukrya!! :p
Tanoshii mo omoshiroi desu yo!! :D
I'll give this drama a rating 10/10!

Review: My Bratty Princess aka My Mischievous Princess
It's a very interesting drama with all the great cast: Alec Su, Jang Nara, Florence Tan...etc. (sorry..the others I'm not familiar with :p)
It seems the role "Little Lobster" (Xiao Long Xia) is specially written for the Korean Actress Jang Nara. The character is so bubbly, energetic & cute just like her. :) I like all the fighting scenes with her in it.
And Florence Tan (mediacorp), I never knew that she can act so "evil" as someone who badmouths Situ Jing in front of the Dowager "Tai Hou".
At some point, I had a sudden urge to go in & "slap" her when she tried to set up Xiao Long Xia. :p Good acting! :)
And Alec Su, wow..never knew he's so cool acting as an Emperor...really suits him well. The other lead actor, whose character name is Bai Yun Fei is equally cool too.
After watching it, makes me wanna watch the exciting scenes again...and again... :)
Is definiately a worthy drama to watch & keep. ;D
